Zlayo doesn't charge for anything yet, so there's nothing to refund. This policy applies to any paid plan we introduce. The price and exactly what a plan includes will be shown to you before you pay.
Payments to Zlayo are final and are not refunded. That covers monthly payments, yearly payments, part-used months, renewals you forgot were coming, and time left over on a plan you cancel.
This applies however much or little of the plan you used. There is no trial window on a paid plan and no cooling-off period beyond what the law where you live gives you, which is covered further down.
Making a video costs us real machine time the moment you start it — listening to your footage, working out where to cut, and rendering the result. That is spent as soon as the work runs, and we can't get it back. Rather than promise refunds we'd then have to argue about, we don't offer them at all and we say so before you pay.
The free plan is the trial. It needs no card, it has no time limit, and it lets you put your own footage through Zlayo and look at what comes out before you spend anything.
It is deliberately limited — smaller picture, our name on the video, short exports, and no Auto-Clip — but it is enough to judge whether the result is what you want. Please use it first.
You can cancel at any time from your account, and it takes effect straight away in the sense that no further payment is taken. Your plan stays usable until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your files stay downloadable for 30 days after that.
Cancelling does not refund the period you are in, or any earlier period. If you are not sure you want to keep paying, cancel before the next renewal date rather than after it.
A mistake on our side is not a refund, it is money you never owed, and we will always return it. That means:
Email busuiocd67@gmail.com from the address on your account and we will sort it out. A video that failed, was cancelled, or was retried never costs you anything in the first place — the allowance is handed back automatically and no money is involved.
If you're a consumer in the European Union or another country with a similar law, you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of a digital service. When you buy a plan you will be asked to agree that your plan starts immediately and that you give up that 14-day right once it does. If you do not agree to that, do not buy the plan — use the free plan instead.
Where that agreement isn't validly given, or where your local law doesn't allow it to be given up, your 14-day right still stands and this policy does not override it.
If you think a charge is wrong, email us first — we can usually sort it out faster than a bank can, and genuine billing mistakes are covered above. If you open a chargeback for a payment this policy makes non-refundable, we may suspend the account while it is resolved and close it if the chargeback is found to be unjustified.
Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under the consumer protection law of the country where you live that can't be signed away. Where this policy and that law disagree, the law wins. See also our Terms of Service.
