About this page

Zlayo is a set of tools. What you make with them, and where and how you publish it, is your decision and your responsibility. This page lists specific things that can go wrong and that we don't take responsibility for, to the fullest extent the law allows. It forms part of our Terms of Service. In this page “we” means Zlayo and the person who operates it.

Copyright flags and strikes

If content you made or downloaded with Zlayo gets flagged for copyright, it isn't our fault and we aren't responsible for it. That includes when TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, Twitch or any other platform:

  • flags, mutes, blocks, age-restricts or removes a video;
  • matches it through an automated system such as Content ID, or lets someone else claim its revenue;
  • gives your account a copyright strike or warning;
  • limits, demonetises or deletes your account because of copyright.

This applies whatever the cause: footage, music or sound you added; background videos you chose; clips cut from someone else's stream, podcast or video; a script or story you pasted in; content fetched with the link downloader; or an automated system making a mistake. We don't review what you publish, we have no say over other platforms' decisions, and we can't dispute a claim for you. Checking that you have the rights to what you post is up to you. See our Copyright & Takedown Policy for how copyright works on Zlayo itself.

Your accounts on other platforms

We're not responsible for anything another platform does to your account or your posts, for any reason, including:

  • suspensions, bans, shadow-bans, or reduced reach;
  • being removed from a monetisation or partner programme, for example under “reused” or “unoriginal content” rules, which clip and compilation channels often run into;
  • posts being labelled, limited or removed as AI-generated, spam, misleading or against community rules;
  • changes to a platform's rules, algorithm or payouts.

Views, growth and earnings

We don't promise any results. Nothing about Zlayo guarantees views, likes, followers, virality, watch time, sponsorships, monetisation or income. Clip scores, “best moment” picks and suggested titles are automated guesses, not predictions of how content will perform. Decisions you make about your content, your channel or your business based on them are your own.

Accuracy of AI output

Transcripts, captions, clip picks, titles, tags and descriptions are made by automated systems and can be wrong. They may mishear names or words, mistranslate, mistime captions, change the meaning of what someone said, pick a weak moment, cut a sentence mid-thought, or produce something inaccurate, offensive or unsuitable. Review everything before you publish it.

Nothing Zlayo produces is legal, financial, medical, safety or other professional advice, and nothing it produces should be relied on as if it were.

Voices, likeness and real people

We aren't responsible for how you use voices, faces or the identities of real people, including:

  • cloning a voice without its owner's permission;
  • a fake-texting video or story being taken as real by viewers, or being used to accuse, embarrass or misrepresent someone;
  • claims of defamation, impersonation, privacy invasion or misuse of someone's image or likeness;
  • filming or publishing people without the consent your local law requires.

The rules on this are in the Acceptable Use Policy. Following them, and the law, is your responsibility.

Scripts, stories and footage you bring

Reddit posts and other online stories belong to the people who wrote them. Videos you transcribe into a script from a link belong to their creators. Background footage, music, images and voice samples you upload come with their own rights. Having permission to use any of it is on you, and we're not responsible for claims arising from material you chose to bring into Zlayo.

The link downloader

We're not responsible for:

  • whether you have the right to download or reuse a video;
  • breaking YouTube's or any other platform's terms by downloading, which many of them forbid;
  • links that stop working, videos that are private, region-locked or removed, or a quality that isn't available;
  • the downloader being limited, changed or removed.

AI labels and detection

Platforms, other services and viewers may detect that content was made with AI, whether from its sound, its look or the watermark on a Free-plan video, and may label, limit or remove it as a result. Many platforms require you to disclose realistic AI content yourself. We aren't responsible for the consequences of AI detection or labelling, or of not disclosing AI content where you were required to.

Lost files and failed renders

Renders can fail or come out wrong, uploads can be interrupted, and files can be lost through bugs, hardware failure, a server restart during a job, or deletion. Keep your own copies of source files and finished output that matter to you. We aren't responsible for losing them, for the time spent re-creating them, or for missed posting deadlines.

Downtime and changes

Zlayo may be slow, unavailable or broken at times, including for maintenance, and jobs may queue during busy periods. Features, voices, caption styles, templates and limits may change or be removed. We aren't responsible for losses caused by downtime, delays or changes.

Third-party services

Zlayo relies on other companies' services, such as hosting providers, AI providers and the platforms the downloader fetches from. They can go down, change their terms or prices, change or remove features, or handle data under their own policies. We aren't responsible for what they do or fail to do.

Security incidents

We take reasonable steps to protect the Service and your data, but no system is completely secure. We aren't responsible for harm caused by attacks or events beyond our reasonable control, or by someone using your account because your password was shared, reused or leaked from somewhere else.

What others do with what you share

Anyone with a share link can view that content, and can forward the link, download what they see, or record their screen. We can't control what people you share with do, and we aren't responsible for it. Turn off sharing for anything you no longer want seen.

Laws where you live

Laws about AI content, deepfakes, recording people, privacy and downloading differ from country to country and change often. You're responsible for following the laws that apply to you and to the people who'll see your content.

Business use and taxes

If you use Zlayo for a business, a brand, clients or paid work, you're responsible for your own contracts, disclosures (such as marking sponsored content), licences, reporting and any taxes on what you earn.

What this page doesn't change

This page doesn't limit or exclude any liability that can't legally be limited or excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or deliberate wrongdoing, or rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived under the law where you live. If any part of it can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Questions: busuiocd67@gmail.com.
